3.2 | 2 | AIR 5.1.6.8 | Mantech |
Provided technical support on aircraft armament platforms and armament systems evaluations to satisfy AIR 5.1.6 requirements. Test and evaluation of more than 30 different armament systems/modifications prior to installation in test aircraft, providing nearly 100% system reliability.
RDT&E on many different platforms and armament systems, including the S-3B Maverick Plus System (MPS) contributed to a quality armament system being delivered to the Fleet ahead of schedule and under budget. Other projects include the P-3C SLAM-ER System (PASER), P-3C Directed Search Torpedo System and the F/A-18 1760 Generic Umbilical Cable.
RDT&E effort of the P-3C Digital Stores Management System (DSMS), a prototype replacement system for the now obsolete weapon system in the P-3C Orion. Support consisted of but not limited to: preparing technical assessments, analyses, draft test plans and reports by providing real-time test activity support based on our study and investigation of the issues and data associated with each specific situation. We assess technical publications, design documents, and fabrication specifications to determine Armament Control Systems (ACS) test requirements for both ground and flight tests.

3.4 | 2 | AIR 5.1.6.8 | Mantech |
Provide prototyping and pre-production support to AIR 5.1.6.8 on the F/A-18 1760 Umbilical cable. This support consisted of designing, fabricating and conducting environmental testing of the first engineering units. We also were responsible for ensuring all documentation was completed in accordance with all applicable specifications, allowing the Navy to move to its full-scale production effort.
Provided support in the development and production of the P-3C Directed Search Torpedo Upgrade System to PMA-290. This effort included the development of the entire system, control panel, interface control unit and associated wiring.
Provided support to the Naval Research Laboratory in the prototyping of electrical harness and the installation of harness in the Intrepid Tiger pod for the F/A-18 aircraft. Additionally, we designed and fabricated cabling and prototype test adapter assemblies, also providing electrical schematics and documentation.
Provided support to PMA-290 to design, fabricate and inspect armament system components related to the Digital Stores Management System on the P-3C. Additionally, we designed and fabricated cabling and prototype test adapter assemblies, also providing electrical schematics and documentation.

3.20 | 2 | AIR 5.1.6.8 | Mantech |
Provided program planning support to PMA-231 through the application of financial management disciplines. Work with various sponsors (ONR, PEO (IWS) and the Air Force) to receive RDT&E funding for all PMA-231 Net Centric Warfare (NCW) projects. Once funds are received we are responsible for working with lead engineers with planning and budgeting how to execute funds. Closely work with NAWC and NAVAIR BFM’s (Budget Financial Manager) to apply funds for government support by preparing FAR’s (Funding Action Request) and WAA’s (Work Assignment Agreement) or apply funds to a contract.
Coordinate and participate with engineers, security, Budget Financial Managers (BFM’s), acquisitions, legal and contracts on Pre Planning Conferences (PPC) for upcoming contracts for PMA 231 NCW IPT. We are required to work closely with all key players to ensure contracts are awarded on time.
